Wrest Park Country Estate
History
A beautiful country estate located in Silsoe, Bedfordshire, England, Wrest Park comprising a Grade I listed country house and 92 acres of formal gardens surrounding the mansion. Built in 1834 by its owner Thomas de Grey, 2nd Earl de Grey, an amateur architect, the mansion was based on French architectural designs of the time and features some of the earliest Rococo Revival interiors in England. Reception rooms in the house are open for public viewing.
Scope of Works
An amazing project for us to be entrusted with by English Heritage/Historic England, over a ten month period working closely with the client team and in house services to deliver this complete site wide HV/LV sub main upgrade.
